Friday food photo

Bellas topic for this week of the 52 photos project ("chopped") inspired me to create a new receipe - my version of a bulgur salad. Ususally, you cook bulgur and chop a lot of vegetables - cucumber, tomatoes, parsley and peppers - and add some hot stuff like spring onions and Harissa.
I found some radish on the market today, which is spicy in a more subtle way, and some green asparagus. So I ended up with a delicious summer salad and some 'chopped' photos! I roasted the chopped asparagus for about 5-7 minutes in a pan, chopped cucumber, pepper, tomatoes and the radish, mixed them with bulgur, some tomato juice, olive oil, lemon juice and freshly  grounded pepper. The perfect summer lunch!
