Travel log: Bebenhausen

I have to interrupt my weekly France travel footage for a short trip to the south of Germany. Last week I went to Bebenhausen, a small town about 3 km from Tübingen. The monastery (in fact, a summer refectory) was founded in 1183, and of course the surrounding houses date back to a similar time. Next week, I'll invite you to have a look into a garden next to the refectory, one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen.

Much more beautiful places you'll find at

What a lovely place! I absolutely adore the architecture. Your photo with the hanging plant in the foreground is gorgeous.

The door intrigues me … I can imagine centuries of monks entering to pray within the monastery walls.

Hello Katrin, thanks for visiting my site.

Your travel is certainly awesome, that first picture is spectacular. How i wish i can see some beautiful places and old structures like those, in your part of the world. I've chanced in visiting Strasbourg and i remember almost the same architectural design as the building in the first photo, wonderful photography too.
