Travel log: Tübingen
Tübingen is one of the most beautiful old towns in the south of Germany. Narrow alleys, cobbled pavements. Even the police station tries to make itself attractive (no, that's not true, there's a shop on the opposite side of the street). A sign says 'Goethe puked here', and you'll get 'hot couture' in the nun's alley. But what we loved most is an amazing museum inside of the castle of Tübingen - I'll take you there next week.

Tübingen ist eine meiner Lieblingsstädte in Süddeutschland und wunderschön. Selbst die Polizeiwache versucht, sich attraktiv zu machen (okay, es war eigentlich der Laden gegenüber). In der Nonnengasse gibt es 'hot couture', und ich liebe das Schild 'Goethe kotze hier'. Was wir aber am Allerschönsten fanden, war ein wunderbares Museum im Tübinger Schloss, und nächste Woche nehme ich Euch dorthin mit!

Schöne alte Ecke, Dächer und Gassen. Thübingen hat sich, genauso wie ganz Deutschland, recht schön aufgeputzt. Vor der wieder Vereinigung schien nicht so viel Stolz in der heimischen Schönheit zu sein.

the sign 'Polizei' means that there's a police station in the building. On the opposite side of the street is a small shop with kids clothes, gifts and other colorful things. They decorated not only the front of their shop, but the opposite side of the street, too. And from this point of view you could get the impression that the police tried to make itself a little bit mor atrractive ...
Wonderful old buildings, and I love the lampshade outside the police department!
