52 photos project: celebration
Bella asked us today to share our celebration moments. I'm not that much in celebration mode these days, but what I do celebrate is each ray of sun. More precious, since winter nearly has arrived, and always good for a miracle. A short while ago, I left a cocosnut bowl on my kitchen table, completely dumb and dull. And I came back and found the perfect arrangement. The world is more beautiful with some sun, isn't it?

Bella fragte heute nach den Momenten, die wir feiern. Ich bin zur Zeit nicht wirklich im Feiermodus, aber was ich feiere, ist jeder Sonnenstrahl. Kostbarer, weil der Winter fast schon da ist, und immer für ein kleines Wunder gut. Vorhin habe ich eine Kokosnussschale auf meinem Küchentisch stehen lassen, alles sah glanzlos und uninteressant aus. Und als ich wieder zurückkam, war da das perfekte Arrangement. Die Welt ist einfach viel schöner mit Sonne, oder?

Celebrating the sunshine ... I love it!
Yes, sunshine is something to celebrate. Having lived most of my life where it was commonplace, I find myself missing it now that I live in a place that has many gray days. I love your photos - a good reminder of how important sun is, and how important it is to celebrate the little things when they happen.
Living in Seattle, I too celebrate sunshine whenever it comes my way. Cheers!
