What do you like? and giveaway

My dear readers (and followers ...). I'm thinking of redesigning and spring-cleaning my blog. I started blogging in a moment when my life made very clear that I would have to go into a complete new direction. I intended to post some of my illustrations and part of what I'm doing as a freelancer for my clients. Life again led me into new directions, meanwhile there are lots of photos and less other things.
My question are: What do you like here best, and what do you like not? What would you like to hear more about on this blog? I enjoy all your comments and compliments so much. But now, criticism would be helpful, too. I'd love to hear what you think about all this.
And in return, one of you can win a big package with giveaways. All the things you can see here in one package for a winner who's going to be drawn: prints, postcards, lables, stick-on tattoos ... Good luck!
____

Einfach toll!

Allerbeste Grüße
Jules

Oh wow! I love change! But, having said that...there are many things about your blog that I hope don't go away. Let's start with travel. Blogs that I enjoy is when the person takes us to places we will likely never go or see. Gozo was a great example of that. Never heard of it, but after your posts I felt as if I'd been there. So keep the travel picks coming! An example post that I really enjoyed is from April 10th - your midweek portrait. I love seeing the various items you put together to photograph. This is where I've received lots of inspiration from your posts. You are an artist and I learn from you as I bet others do. I would like to see how you stage some of this. I think of fancy cameras and special lighting and these big reflectors when I see stuff staged and photograph, but somehow I don't think that's you. So I'd like for you to show us what you do to make these so great. Do you just pick up stuff around your house and bring it together for the shoot? Which leads me into your magazine. How do you do this? It is amazing to me. What I have found lately is that I'm subscribing to more blogs that show me how to do something instead of just the beautiful end result. That turquoise post is another that I enjoyed. Anyway, you know I love your blog and always look forward to your daily postings. Thank you for sharing your work, but in the end you also have to do it for you. So that should be priority! xo

P.S. Here's one time I wish I could translate others comments to know what they're saying! :)

Dear Robin,
thanks for all the input. Yes, showing more behind-the-scenes of stills would be fun - I love to see how professional photographers arrange their lights and props and always learn from that a lot.
I was afraid that there were too much travel pictures during the last time and they might become annoying. So a special thank for that - especially since I received a sweet invitation for NYC and Arizona and hopefully will travel a lot during the next years!
