Hello, life

Isn't life surprising and magical? I remembered a situation when my life took a complete turn after I thought "whatever life will bring, I'm ready for the next step". It was late in the evening, and the next morning I found a mail in my mailbox, completely unexpected, that changed my life for many years (in a very positive way). And I remember a story of Byron Katie who says: You have what you want and you want what you have (and she's right). Her son did not get the contract with the record label he had wished for. But nevertheless, he was excited and told her that he would be very curious about what kind of a more exciting thing life was going to prepare for him?

Well, life, I'm ready for the next step, again. Surprise me. You showed me so often, and today again, that there are surprises out there I never could have imagined. I'm ready to go wherever you lead me, and I am very curious to learn what the next steps for me will be.

Ist das Leben nicht überraschend und magisch? Ich habe mich an eine Situation erinnert, in der mein Leben eine komplette Wende genommen hat, nachdem ich gedacht hatte "was auch immer mir das Leben bringen wird, ich bin bereit für den nächsten Schritt." Das war spät am Abend, und am nächsten Morgen habe ich eine völlig unerwartete Mail in meiner Mailbox gefunden, die mein Leben für viele Jahre auf sehr positive Weise verändern sollte. Und ich erinnere mich an eine Geschichte von Byron Katie, die sagt: Du hast, was Du willst, und Du willst, was Du hast (und das stimmt, auch wenn es nicht ganz einfach zu verdauen ist). Ihr Sohn hat den ersehnten Plattenvertrag nicht bekommen. Und er rief sie trotzdem aufgeregt an und sagte, dass er jetzt sehr neugierig sei, was das leben noch Aufregenderes für ihn bereithalten würde.


OK, Leben, ich bin wieder bereit für den nächsten Schritt. Du hast mir so oft, und auch heute wieder gezeigt, dass es Überraschungen da draußen gibt, die ich mir nie hätte vorstellen können. Ich bin bereit und gehe dort hin, wo Du mich hinführst, und ich bin schon sehr neugierig, was die nächsten Schritte sein werden.
