Monday morning macro
A friend brought me very special salt crystals from Bali: they are formed like tiny hollow pyramids. They 'grow' naturally when the sun is at the zenith over the saltworks, and Balinese women pick the pyramides with tweezers from the rest of the salt. It tastes delicious - and a bit magical.

Eine Freundin hat mir ganz besondere Salzkristalle aus Bali mitgebracht, die die Form winziger, hohler Pyramiden haben. Sie 'wachsen' auf natürliche Weise, wenn die Sonne im Zenit über den Salinen steht, und balinesische Frauen picken die Pyramiden dann mit Pinzetten aus dem restlichen Salz heraus. Es schmeckt einfach köstlich - und ein bißchen magisch.
