Travel log: Château d'Oiron, part 1

Hard to believe how many beautiful places I have seen during my ten-days-trip to France. This is the Château d'Oiron, with origins in the 15th century. It's not only a wonderful castle, it's a museum, too. I'll show parts of the exhibition next week, but for today, have a look at the beautiful buildings, some of the outdoor sculptures and the park.

Kaum zu glaubem, wie viele wunderschöne Orte ich in meinen 10 Tagen in Frankreich gesehen habe. Dies hier ist das Château d'Oiron, dessen Ursprünge bis ins 15. Jahrhundert zurückreichen. Es ist nicht nur ein eindrucksvolles Schloss, sondern auch ein Museum. Ich werde nächste Woche einen Teil der Ausstellung zeigen, aber heute erst einmal Fotos der wunderschönen Gebäude, der Outdoor-Skultpuren und dem Park.
