Sunday inspiration

Months ago, on a fleemarket I had bought a wooden box with oddments of embroidery cotton, not knowing what I would do with it. Last week, I had sent one of my doodles to Hege from hegeinfrance, and she encouraged me in the nicest way to be more serious about my doodles. She even included my picture into the beautiful styling she contributed to the Norwegian Inteiror blogs 'Winter mood challenge'. Have a look at her beautiful photos! Thus inspired, I started a new series of embroidered 'doodles'. A perfect Sunday acitivity! I hope you're having a great weekend, too.

Vor ein paar Monaten habe ich auf einem Flohmarkt eine alte Spanschachtel mit Stickgarnresten gekauft, ohne eine Idee zu haben, was ich damit anfangen könnte. Letzte Woche hatte ien einen meiner Doodles an Hege von hegeinfrance geschickt, und sie hat mich auf denkbar nette Weise ermutigt, meine Kritzeleien etwas ernster zu nehmen.
