Travel log: Fulda
Now and then, I'm giving trainings in Fulda, and I learned to like this town a lot. You'll find me in the early morning in the streets with my camera before I'm getting serious in front of my class. One of the things that always amaze me there are all the statues of Virgin Mary on the walls.

Hin und wieder gebe ich Schulungen in Ful da, und mittlerweile mach ich diesen Ort sehr gern. Man findet mich dann frühmorgens mit meiner Kamera irgendwo in den Gassen, bevor ich mich dann vor meine Klasse stelle. Eines der Dinge, die mich in Fulda immer wieder aufs Neue faszinieren, sind die vielen Marienstatuen an den Hauswänden.

Wusste gar nicht, dass Fulda auch über einen Leuchtturm verfügt!?!?
Aber Marienstatuen dominieren. Welcher gute Katholik hat nicht gern den einen oder die andere Nebengott / Nebengöttin, den/die man anbeten kann, wenn's mit dem Chef persönlich (mal wieder) nicht klappt!?

Es lohnte sich schon immer, den ein oder anderen Draht nach "oben" warm zu halten...
