Here's the place I started to realize how easily I could fall in love with Freiburg, just one hour after arriving there: A restaurant called "Grandma's kitchen'. I had those more than delicious gnocci with grilled vegetables and cowberry crème fraiche, a recipe I must absolutely try to recreate. And when we left in the evening light, there was Tango music coming from a little place exactly opposite, and some couples were dancing under the old trees of the 'Wiehre Bahnhof' (the old station).

Hier ist der Ort, an dem ich begriffen habe, wie leicht ich mich in Freiburg verlieben könnte, und das nicht einmal eine Stunde nach meiner Ankunft: Omas Küche am alten Wiehrebahnhof. Ich hatte diese sensationellen Gnocci mit gegrilltem Gemüse und Preiselbeer-Crème fraiche bestellt, ich muss unbedingt versuchen, das nachzukochen. And als wir im Abendlicht das Restaurant verließen, konnte man vom kleinen Platz direkt gegenüber Tangomusik hören, und tatsächlich tanzten dort ein paar Paare unter den alten Bäumen - wie in einer Filmszene ...
