Travel log:Museum Schloss Hohentübingen

One of the highlights of my recent visit in Tübingen was visiting the museum which you'll find inside of the castle of Tübingen. The actual exhibition is about ancient cultures. They have a terrific exhibition design, and the museum is thumping great, and each piece is amazing. My favourite story: the bear you'll see in the picture below, is carved from a mammoth tooth. They found the body in 1931 in a large cave, and recently they made a new archeological  excavation there. But inmidst of debris and dirt, somebody found the head of the bear. And the figure is about 4 cm!

Eines der Highlights meines kürzlichen Besuchs in Tübingen war das Museum Schloss Hohentübingen. Sie stellen gerade Exponate alter Kulturen aus. Und zusätzlich zum großartigen Ausstellungsdesign ist wirklich jedes einzelne Stück unglaublich schön. Meine Lieblingsgeschichte: Diesen Bär hat man 1931 in einer Höhle in der Nähe von Tübingen gefunden, allerdings nur den Körper. Kürzlich haben sie neue archäologische Untersuchungen dort gemacht, und irgendjemand hat zwischen Dreck und Geröll den Kopf gefunden. Und die kleine Skulptur ist nur ca. 4 cm groß!
