Alles begann mit einer Idee im Sommer: die Passagen, Deutschlands größtes Designevent, auch in unsere Nachbarschaft zu holen. In zwei Wochen ist es so weit: Mit Design 18/12 haben wir eine neue 'Designmeile' geschaffen, das drei Kölner Stadtteile miteinander verbindet, an mehr als 19 Ausstellungsorten Design, Kunst und Musik stattfinden lässt - und jede Menge Abenteuer verspricht. Diesen Monat wird es deshalb hier auf dem Blog viel um Design gehen! Im Vorfeld um Trends, die wir aus Paris mitgebracht haben, und dann nehme ich Euch ab Mitte des Monats mit hinter die Kulissen von Design 18/12.

It began with a summer idea: to bring the Passagen to our neighbourhood, Germany's biggest design event. Just two more weeks to go: with Design 18/12, we'll open up a new 'design mile' that will connect three of Cologne's quarters, will have more than 19 design locations and brings design, art and music - and lots of adventures! Thus, I'll blog this month a lot about design - first with trends we brought from Paris, and then with behind-the-scenes-info from the Design 18/12 event itself.
