Favourite places: El Dandy, Havanna
Ich habe Kubafotos für eine Reisereportage eingereicht und bin dabei über die Bilder unseres Lieblingsrestaurants in Havanna gestolpert. Es war ein bißchen so etwas wie ein Zuhause in einer Stadt, die uns nicht allzu freundlich begrüßt hat: El Dandy in der Altstadt, neben dem Plaza de Cristo. Sie hatten die beste frisch gemachte Limonade und einen göttlichen Tomatensalat, den ich mal nachmachen muss, wenn das Wetter wieder sommerlich ist. Und jenseits des leckeren Essens war El Dandy natürlich der reinste Augenschmaus. Glückliche Zeiten ...

I applied for a travel coverage with my Cuban photos and came across the pictures of our favourite restaurant in Havanna. It felt a bit like home in a city that didn't welcome us too friendly: El Dandy in Old Havana near the Plaza de Cristo. They had the best fresh lemonade and a perfect tomato salad - which I have to recreate as soon as the wheather is more summerish. Besides of the great food, it also was a feast for the eyes. Happy times ...

Travel to Cuba is the new thing in the US now that the embargo has been lifted. This looks like a cool spot!
